Snowflakes Falling on Stanley

Since I have a new stamp I am being sure to get lots of use out of it.  I may make all my Christmas cards next year with this stamp lol!  I have done a couple of card challenges and it is so addicting.  As soon as you click on a link to someone's blog it would seem there are several more challenges to peruse.

Snowflakes seem appropriate right now as we are under a heavy snow warning.  There is enough snow that I have decided that rather than drive the 1/2 hour into town today, I would stay home and stamp and wrap Christmas gifts.   So far I have not done any wrapping but I did make a card for the Snowflake Challenge over at Fab "n" Funky Challenges.

Once again I have used my new stamp from Squigglfy.  I have a feeling my other stamps will not see much use until I am done with Christmas cards!!

Not so Manly Stanley returns

I think of all the stamps I have ever owned, this digital image by Fawn Palmer over at Squigglefly is my most favorite ever.  I am having so much fun with Not so Manly Stanley!!

I have not done any stamping blog challenges in a very long time but since I am having so much fun stamping lately I decided to enter this card into the Sunday Sketch and Stamp challenge #186.
I am pretty sure you will be seeing more of Stanley!!

Not so manly Stanley

Squigglefly has a challenge posted to use Christmas images/paper/embellies and I just bought a new digital stamp from them that I was aching to use!

I had never, to this point, used or even considered using a digital stamp.  New things are scary lol!  However, I was perusing the Squigglefly site one day after having had a conversation with my stamping friend Holly Young and I decided to check it out!  Well, when I found this saying I absolutely had to have it.  I decided to ask Holly what Squigglefly had to go with it in terms of images and surprisingly, nothing specific had been made to go with it.  I put in a request that the artists get to work immediately and gave her an idea of what I was looking for!  Artist Fawn Palmer did a wonderful job of creating the perfect image - Not so Manly Stanley!

So with text and image at the ready, here is the card I made!
